What must you do if you receive an automatic enrollment letter but want to delay your OAS to get the 36% bonus?

Do nothing; the system will wait for you to cash the first OAS Cheque. You must contact Service Canada immediately to "opt-out." You must wait until age 71 to apply for a refund. You cannot delay if you are automatically enrolled.
